Herman, Herman & Katz L.L.P. is proud to announce Jed Cain as the firm’s newest partner. Mr. Cain has been with the firm since his clerkship while he was earning his J.D. at Tulane University Law School, and he became an associate with the firm in the summer of 2005.

“I am honored to be joining the firm as a partner,” says Cain. “Herman, Herman & Katz has been such a huge part of my life and my legal career. I’m eager to continue working hard as a part of a team that is focused on bringing justice to our clients and the community at large.”

Since joining HH&K shortly before Hurricane Katrina, Mr. Cain has become heavily involved in the firm’s prosecution of both commercial and residential first party property insurance claims. His work on behalf of the victims of Hurricane Katrina has earned him recognition from The New York Times, Law Dragon Magazine and the New Orleans Times Picayune.

Today, Mr. Cain maintains an active membership in both the Louisiana Association for Justice and the American Association for Justice. He frequently publishes articles for LAJ’s Advocates magazine and is currently an active member of the LAJ’s Legislative Committee, Insurance Section and New Lawyers Division. Mr. Cain is also currently the Chair of the LAJ’s New Lawyers Division.
