Herman, Herman & Katz, L.L.C., is proud to name Joseph “Jed” Cain as an equity partner of the firm. Mr. Cain was named a non-equity partner in the spring of 2011; he has been with the firm since his clerkship while he was earning his J.D. at Tulane University Law School, and he became an associate with the firm in the summer of 2005.

Mr. Cain says he is excited for this promotion, as the firm has been integral to his career as a student and an attorney in the New Orleans community. His practice focuses primarily on catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death cases. Over the years, his work on behalf of HH&K’s clients has earned him recognition from The New York Times, Law Dragon Magazine, and the Times-Picayune.

Mr. Cain maintains an active membership in both the Louisiana Association of Justice (LAJ) and the American Association of Justice (AAJ). He has served on LAJ’s Legislative Committee, Insurance Section, and New Lawyers Division. Mr. Cain currently serves on LAJ’s Board of Governors.
